We are so happy to be back in school; at last!
We had great fun decorating some Christmas baubles for the Curragh Family Resource Centre Christmas tree. We made sure to use bright colours and lots of glitter!

Would you like to build a snowman??

Welcome back!!
Hope you all enjoyed your Summer Holidays. On our first day back at school we learned ‘You got a friend in me’ from Toy Story. Then in Art we made our own Forky and Knifey.
With the Rugby World Cup in full swing we learned all about Japanese culture and traditions. We even learned how to write some Japanese symbols. The girls are very excited to watch their first Rugby match!
Happy Halloween! The girls have been very busy learning about Halloween traditions in other countries, in particular Dia de las Muertos in Mexico. We also went through the health and safety hazards around Halloween Time. Look at our colourful pumpkins which are brightening up our corridor!
Our St Brigid's Day Crosses
Ms Farrouj taught us all how to make our very own St Brigid's Day Cross.
Our Minibeast Hunt
We decided to make the most of the sunshine today and go on a minibeast hunt. We searched everywhere and recorded where each insect was found. The girls knew all of the names of the insects and were able to share interesting facts about each one.
